We provide short-term, emergency and safe shelter for people fleeing domestic violence and for young people under the age of 21 who have no place to stay.
For Survivors of Domestic Violence
Safe Horizon offers eight confidential domestic violence shelters located throughout the five boroughs of New York City. Our domestic violence shelters offer a full range of services comprehensive programming to support safety and healing.
If you are a victim of domestic violence and are seeking shelter, please call our hotline 800-621-HOPE (4673). We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
For Homeless Youth
Our Streetwork Overnight safe shelter provides short-term emergency housing to homeless young people under the age 21. To be placed in our Overnight Shelter, you must be referred by one of our two Streetwork Drop-In Centers:
