Safe Horizon’s Redefining Home explores the concept of home, and what it means to our clients, in celebration of Streetwork Project’s 40th anniversary. For four decades, Streetwork Project has worked with young people experiencing homelessness to help them find stability. Experiencing family abuse, violence, rejection, or instability may have led to their homelessness, causing them to reconsider what home means to them. These stories help show us that home can be a place in the community or a friend’s couch, it can be a drop in center or an overnight shelter – home is wherever you find safety and belonging.
Redefining Home features the work of professional photographer and Streetwork staff member, Leo Wilson.
