Safe Horizon’s Community Programs work to ensure that survivors have ongoing support during their journey. With sites that serve all five boroughs of New York City, our Community Programs offer help for survivors of abuse or violence. Compassionate Community Program staff provide safety planning, advocacy, case management, information and referrals, supportive counseling and support groups. Additionally, the Staten Island office runs the Rape Crisis Program which serves two area hospital Emergency Departments on Staten Island. Your donation will assist the Community Programs in providing assistance during the holiday season and winter months through direct assistance with holiday gifts, grocery cards, clothing and toiletries.
