Our Domestic Violence Law Project (DVLP) provides free legal help and services tailored to domestic violence survivors’ needs.
DVLP staff are highly skilled and trained attorneys and paralegals. They represent and provide consultations to domestic violence survivors in cases involving:
- Child custody
- Visitation
- Divorce
- Orders of protection
- Child support
DVLP’s Uncontested Divorce Clinic
Uncontested divorces happen when both parties agree to the terms of a divorce.
At DVLP’s Uncontested Divorce Clinic, once a month survivors can come in and meet with one of our attorneys who will assist the client in filling out the necessary paperwork to file an uncontested divorce in one of the five boroughs.
